"Man does not live on bread alone, but every word that comes from God." - Matthew 4:4

In 2003, Loaves and Fishes is a food pantry and clothes closet ministry of Emmanuel. For 7 years the church held small services and handed out food and clothes a few times a month.  In 2010, God used one of our church members to expand the vision to meet needs in Camp County.  The use of a building downtown opened new avenues of reaching people.  The closet and pantry was able to expand.  Plus several other local churches got involved in the ministry and now God is using His people to reach more and more.  Renamed God's Closet, is open 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, & Friday from 9:00 a.m. until Noon).  Different churches work each week and all the glory is given to God!

If you would like more information on God's Closet or would like to donate, please contact the Emmanuel Church office at (903) 856-3411.  God's Closet is open to any resident of Camp County.  If you have never been blessed before through this ministry you will need to fill out a small bit of paper work and have a drivers liscense or bill to verify your address.  Our purpose of the services is so that all those attending may hear the good news about Jesus, the "Bread of Life!"
