Winter 2005 - Church votes to partner with Ron Mabry and Bryan Jacobe to design new church

Sept. 9-10, 2006 - 12-Hour Prayer Vigil

November 2, 2008 - Purchas of asphalt materials (savings of $50,000.00)

September 20, 2009 - Church votes to reverse order of phases of master plan

November 18, 2009 - Recommitment Meal for Vision to Reality - A Journey With God

June 10, 2010 - Church calls Relocation Committee to pursue process for moving forward with relocation

Extreme Makeover to the Extreme!

During the summer of 2010, Emmanuel Baptist Church did a series called "Extreme Makeover - The Living Edition," and God blessed it in some amazing ways.  Along with various ministries the church undertook, there were some amazing things that took place as God blessed our obedience to His call that related to our relocation:

 July 16, 2010 - Pittsburg School proposal to purchase current property

July 26, 2010 - Church contacted by anonymous donor of $1,000,000.00 gift!

August 2, 2010 - Church proposes selling price of $750,000.00 to school

August 2, 2010 - Angela Hammonds offers downtown building for food pantry

August 11, 2010 - Church receives offer of $700,000.00 for property

August 15, 2010 - Proposal to sell property presented to church

August 22, 2010 - Discussion forum of possible relocation in near future

August 29, 2010 - Celebration Sunday!  Church votes 98% to sell property and move forward with relocation...to the Glory of our God!!!

Update! 

The church signed contracts with the architect and builder and approved the floorplan in late 2010 and a tenative start date is early March 2011!  Praise God for all He has done to get us to this point.  Can't wait to see what is next!
